"It was a dark and stormy night when I first saw the Mothman. I was driving home from a late-night shift at work, and the streets were eerily quiet. As I turned onto a deserted road, I saw something out of the corner of my eye.

At first, I thought it was just a large bird, but as it got closer, I could see that it was much bigger than any bird I had ever seen. Its wingspan was massive, and its eyes glowed a bright red in the darkness.

My heart started racing as I watched the creature swoop down towards my car. I swerved to avoid it, but it was too quick. It slammed into the hood of my car, and I could hear its claws scratching against the metal.

I pulled over to the side of the road, shaking with fear. As I looked out my window, I saw the Mothman perched on a nearby tree, watching me with its piercing eyes.

Suddenly, it let out an unearthly screech that sent chills down my spine. I knew I had to get out of there, so I quickly started my car and sped away.

To this day, I am still haunted by that encounter with the Mothman. I don't know what it wanted from me or why it chose to reveal itself to me, but I know that I will never forget that terrifying night."
